Why local-first matters for unreleased AI music catalogs.
Unreleased audio, lyrics, video clips, prompts, metadata, and production notes are creative assets. They should stay on the user's machine by default.
PapayaMusic Lab is designed around local production records, local rendering, and outside services only when the production actually needs them.
That local-first boundary makes the system less magical, but it makes the work auditable. For a production operation, that tradeoff is worth it.
